Social media and how it can work best for business is the topic for the first seminar of 2018, presented by the Stouffville Chamber of Commerce.
James Burgess, a Newmarket-based management consultant and social media advisor, will be the guest speaker at the event. The discussion will focus on driving customers to your business through the use of social media. Burgess will point out strategies to maximize the use of formats, such as Facebook and Twitter, with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue.
The author of two business-management books, Burgess is the owner of Focus31, a company that helps entrepreneurs to think strategically with the goal of maximizing profit.
Check in for the 8 a.m. seminar begins at 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 17 at the Meadowbrook Golf Club. The cost is $30 for Stouffville Chamber of Commerce members and $40 for non-members.
