On Dec. 3 families kicked off the holiday season with a bang, with frostfire fireworks held at Stouffville Memorial Park.

Local community organization Tiny Seedlings organized a fireworks spectacular for families in the community. The park was filled with a high energy from the start, with top hits playing from the Tiny Seedlings booth and children dancing all night long.

Throughout the night, families were also given free cups of hot chocolate, and several prizes were handed out to lucky winners who had a winning sticker on their cup. Despite the chilly weather, both the little ones and the adults were able to enjoy the dazzling fireworks, set off by special guest and fireworks company Pyro-mario.

The fireworks lit up the sky with explosions of colour and various shapes—spectacular enough that Tiny Seedlings opted to make it the first of an annual tradition.

Tiny Seedlings is an initiative created through the United Soils Management, geared towards the growth and development of young children. With the motive of teaching and inspiring children, the not-for-profit community organization has been serving families for over a year through both at-home family activities and local events.
